This setting specifies the default time to live (TTL) value for IP packets generated by the Windows TCP/IP stack.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create new string value named "DefaultTTL" and set it to equal the required TTL.

Restart Windows for the change to take effect.


		DefaultTTL	REG_SZ	"32"


	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP

Settings:

System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP]
Name: DefaultTTL
Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value: (Default = 32)
